It’s a Destructive Life – Contrasting Ideals of the Urban Environment in “It’s a Wonderful Life”

Back before Christmas I was reflecting on the movie called Its a Wonderful Life.  Now I discovered that Patrick Deneen has written  a much more in-depth analysis of that movie from an urbanist perspective.   It is a really great comparison of the two contrasting views of community life that are sub-texts in the movie.  Time to watch the movie again!
