The Cuban-American Andres Duany’s vision for the community of Cornell in Markham, Ontario has not turned out to be as envisioned. Residents are still dependent on their cars for almost everything and the community has not turned out to be a walkable neighbourhood. Why did it not work out the way it was intended?
